Abstract

The History of the reading and writing methods, We can find at the colonial times, with the first booklets that arrived in America in the form of short writings in which the Christian doctrine was spread, with them they learned to read and later to writing, these processes were not simultaneous but alternate, the methods consisted in learning, those that consisted in learning the letters of the alphabet and later they were associated to form a word and then the more complex structures, were synthetic methods, parts of units or letters without integrated phonetic sense; subsequently, the syllabication methods were evolved, which associated a consonant with a vowel and when adding, two or more, syllables, the result of more complex structures, the exercise was already phonetic and made sense with the most intelligible words and utterances , it is from the late nineteenth century when modern methods are put into practice to learn to read and write aspects that are considered phonetics, simultaneity and analytical-synthetic marches; At the beginning of the 20th century, we worked with the Onomatopoeic method, which was phonetic, simultaneous, and synthetic-analytical, and from the second half of the twentieth century to the present we arrive at globalizing proposals that include the most novel of the previous methods. Consider the characteristics of the methods, analyze the narratives to learn to read and write from professional people who can be questioned by email.
