Abstract

The capitalist economic model has determined and conditioned education linking it only creating workers, making the traits and real needs of society invisible; Meanwhile, others can still imagine a different society and work towards it through education, convinced that knowledge is not enclosed within walls of a school but can be created in all spaces of social interaction. Given this, the National Pedagogical University of the State of Chihuahua through the Bachelor of Educational Intervention (BEI), presents a social commitment to alternative projects through socio-educational and psycho-pedagogical interventions, with an open perspective to the historical, social and cultural complexity; However, both in the University and in the State, the formation of the BEI has been distorted, encasing it in spaces of formal education, leaving aside its potential as a social educator to transform reality, therefore, the purpose of this study is to reveal how the subjectivity/identity of the professional of the educational intervention has been constituted to carry out an intervention that aims to "realign the identity of the BEI".
