Abstract

Through the recollection of experiences, this study shows the results of an investigation focused on how the students of the last semester of the Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Intervention have identified and applied the competencies of their professional training during the isolation due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. The first section contextualizes the crisis situation and the relationship with the higher education field, specifically in an institution that trains education professionals in the city of Chihuahua. Subsequently, within the immediate history, the theoretical and methodological foundations that cover the third section are delimited. Through an interpretative model, a series of testimonies are integrated, arranged in accordance with the competencies stipulated in the graduate profile of the degree; also, some narratives are included about the feelings of these young women regarding their current academic situation. Finally, conclusions are formulated on the areas of opportunity to rethink the purposes of education, the projection towards a new reality in higher education institutions and the uses of immediate history to leave evidence and explain events without having to wait decades to be able to elaborate a conventional history.
