Abstract

Violence is a cultural phenomenon that is present in interpersonal relationships, normalizes practices, ways of being and has effects on people's lives. When they are visible practices, the effect they have is evident, but when they are veiled it is difficult to identify their effects and to recognize that our acts are violent and hurt the dignity of others. The present investigation is part of an intervention process in a preparatory school of the State of Mexico, which had as objective to generate a diagnosis regarding the type of coexistence present in a group of students, in order to establish a device that recovers the findings and encourage the development of autonomy. I inquired about the ways of relating, the handling of conflict and how they perceive the opportunity to decide about themselves. From the action research the subjectivity of the students was appreciated, recovering their word, observing the presence of influence of previous conflicts in the handling of the little assertive conflict, the breaking of affective bonds that do not allow the communication and they maintain irreconcilable positions, but also a mood solidarity, the need for dialogue and the importance of finding spaces to make their own decisions and be responsible for them.
