Abstract

Learning English has been considered less stimulating for students who have been showing less interest in this subject and also, the rates of school failures have been growing. With this in mind, introducing new methods based on technological-pedagogical innovation has been an incentive for students, who have identified the impact of the information and communication technologies applied in the school context. The main objective of this paper is to contribute to the development of the students skills of the High School Level, which have been taken in consideration from an official document of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Therefore, it is intended to sensitize teachers about the importance of carrying out an objective teaching with an approach that considers the students as the center of the learning process. This demands a series of transformations in the teachers' practices, but especially in teacher role, which has to correspond to the Modelo Educativo (UANL document) orientations, which describes the roles that the students have to carry out in the classrooms as the leaders of their own learning.
