Abstract

Education in values, is one of the challenges currently facing higher education institutions in Mexico. The incorporation of new educational models that are being promoted and applied at a national and international level, such as competencies, make it necessary for university students to train them in order to train people and professionals with skills, attitudes, and skills, competencies at the service of society. Nowadays, educating in values is a requirement and a need that society itself demands and that parents of families, as well as schools and society itself, must address, due to the problems we face today such as corruption, delinquency, insecurity, violence, and the need for greater efficiency, effectiveness and educational relevance. That it should consider not only the imparting of theoretical-practical knowledge, but also, of the values, that define the students, as people and integral professionals at the service of society.
