Abstract

The result of transcendent research has demonstrated that during the first years of life, the fundamental neurophysiological basis that will determine the higher psychological processes settle in. At the same time, they guarantee that the quality of educational programs, as well as living conditions, are of the utmost importance, recognizing that it is the stage where brain functions are structured that are related to sensory development and language. The objective of this research is to determine if there are differences in the child neurodevelopment of girls and boys who have participated in formal and preschool education programs in relation to those who have only completed second and third grade of preschool education. The methodology used is framed in the quantitative paradigm with a descriptive non-experimental-transversal design type. The subjects participating in the research are children from the third year of preschool from different environments: CENDI, Preschool Teacher Training, Preschool Adolfo López Mateos and Preschool by CONAFE. The hypothesis of the study focuses on the existence of significant differences in the child’s neurodevelopment of children who have attended formal and preschool education programs in relation to those who have only attended second and third grade of preschool. The preliminary results of the investigation allow approaching the existing differences in the level of child neurodevelopment among the analyzed groups.
