Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of the Integral Information System (Sistema Integral de Información, SII) on the tutoring process at the Instituto Tecnológico de Campeche by evaluating tutors’ satisfaction with the software’s support for the Institutional Tutoring Program. The research follows a quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. Data were collected through a survey sent to 40 tutor-professors, with a minimum sample size of 30 participants. The data collection instrument was validated using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient (0.79), ensuring its reliability. The results were analyzed using descriptive and correlational statistics, including the Pearson correlation coefficient. The main variables considered were tutoring experience, ease of use of the SII, support for tutoring functions, and user satisfaction. The findings indicate that the SII is perceived as relatively easy to use (mean = 3.74), but its support for tutoring functions and user satisfaction were rated moderate to low (mean = 2.48). Regarding correlation, a significant relationship was found between support for tutoring functions and user satisfaction (r = 0.82), suggesting that when the SII meets information needs, user satisfaction increases. Conclusion: Improving the SII’s ability to meet information needs could enhance tutor satisfaction with the information system used for academic advising.
