Abstract

The role of the pedagogic technical adviser as a source of information regarding daily teaching practice and as a medium to carry out research about teaching in elementary schools in Mexico is presented. Likewise, we present the first results of a research carried out from this new position based around the conceptions of teachers regarding the subjects imparted on the daily in the classroom and their implications on their professional lives.
