Abstract

The following paper refers to the testimonials given by actors whose occupation involves a direct contact with people whose life has been conditioned by a permanent motor disability. Alluring, specifically, to the perception of the attention process offered (by the state and private sector as well) in the state of Chihuahua. The objective is to analyze short stories around the perception of the attention quality given to this vulnerable group. Using a qualitative methodology called “life story”; presents as one of the main results that in the state of Chihuahua, although, a positive evolution in the legislative and institutional recognition can be appreciated, in practice, said evolution it’s not significative. Albeit, big political and normative advances derived from international treaty are recognized, this contrasts with the still in place discrimination in the educative support the state implements for the education of disabled people.
