Abstract

The following paper is an advance of the research project focused to the knowledge, acknowledging, recovering and education of the mathematical knowledge of the Raramuri that reside in the state of Chihuahua, which is scorned in the public and indigenous education, despite their daily use in their work, rituals, and games. Presenting an analysis and selection of studies done by diverse authors in ethnomathematics at an international, national and regional level, including knowledge and mathematical wisdom in numerology, geometry, and astronomy from different ethnic groups. The goal is to communicate the experience of the search of the mathematical wisdom dialogue that helps the formation of a new intercultural education.
