Abstract
Educational research in Chihuahua has had a significant development in recent decades due to the opening of new doctoral programs in Mexico. The objective was to judge, from a well-defined theoretical-methodological perspective, the state of the production generated by educational research in Chihuahua regarding the field of curriculum during the 2007-2021 period. The approach was qualitative with a hermeneutic/interpretive paradigm through the interpretive framework of dialogical hermeneutics with the method of content analysis. Descriptive sheets of each of the reviewed documents were used. 109 products were identified, including 14 doctoral theses, 13 book chapters, 9 books, 54 papers and 19 articles published in indexed journals. The aspects identified in the production were the purpose, the theoretical trend, the methodological orientation and resources, as well as the purposes and results, from which the theoretical-methodological trends of the curricular research are identified. It was found that technical and practical interest predominates in curricular research in Chihuahua and the interpretive tradition as a methodological trend.
